… back at Ceiestino’s house … Graciliana talks of religion … “A lot of our people don’t even know our religion … they say they do … but they hide behind their culture” … she wants her people to move ahead … win, she says … “There have been times in my life that have been so hard … I’ve wondered if there was something else out there” … she says she has met Christians who have faith … “But they don’t have love … faith without love isn’t worth much” … my colleague says she is speaking from the Bible … Graciliana says, next time you come bring your Bible … she wants to know more about it … when we leave ... we form a circle … take hands … offer a prayer in Jesus name … the cacique lifts our hands … prays in his native language … sings … blesses us … until we come again …
