  1. Bill, great photo of you and Dianne the other day. I start each morning checking out my favorite sites. My day wouldn’t be complete without your wonderful blog.

  2. Bonjour from France Bill! How’s it? (as they say in South Africa). So good to have met you in CT. Nice photos by the way!

  3. Hi Bill! Dianne just introduced me to your website. I noticed it’s supposed to be a photo a day, so I was wondering……
It’s springtime!!!! Where are the buds on the trees???
I think you might need to step it up a bit :o)
I hear you may be watching a little too much LOST on the tube???
I’ll be checking in from time to time, so don’t let me down -d

  4. Hello Mr. Bangham,

I’m a grad student at UMass, Amherst where I am pursuing my MFA in writing. My thesis project is about a woman displaced from the Balkans during the war. I found your photos moving and very useful documents as I am currently doing research on refugee camps in Bosnia. I was wondering if you have more images/stories not posted here (I imagine you do!) and if you’d be willing to share or engage in a correspondence about your time there and what you witnessed. My email address is: jacquelineblaire@gmail.com.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
    Take care,
